HIGH-LEVEL MEETING OF PRESIDENTS/DIRECTORS-GENERAL OF THE ESS
“INTEGRATION AND INTEROPERABILITY STRATEGIES FOR
MODERNIZING OFFICIAL STATISTICS”
Seville, 27-28 November 2023
On 27 and 28 November, the National Statistics Institute of Spain (INE) will host, in the context of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU, a high-level meeting for Directors-General/Presidents of national statistical institutes of the European Statistical System (ESS). The event, co-organised by Eurostat, will take place in Seville.
The high-level meeting “Integration and interoperability strategies for modernizing official statistics” will focus on ways of leading data integration and interoperability towards a modernised statistical production aiming at developing elements that could lead to a common strategy in the ESS.
The HLM will be held physically in Seville (Spain), on 27 and 28 November 2023, as a two half-day workshop. Participation is limited to Presidents/Directors-General of ESS National Statistical Institutes and Eurostat.
The HLM will take place in Seville, at the Campus of La Cartuja (headquarters of the International University of Andalusia (UNIA)), which is located in the Monastery of Santa María de Las Cuevas.
It is an architectural complex that was declared a "historical-artistic monument" in 1964 and a "monumental complex" in 1989.
